Healthy Living

Healthy living is about making healthy choices every day; healthy choices that keep us fit physically, mentally and spiritually. Eating a well balanced and nourishing diet, being physically active, a personalised exercise regime and not smoking are best things we can do to stay healthy.

By healthy living activities we can help prevent chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke and even cancer.

Healthy living facts while eating out
  • Start your meal with a salad or a broth-based soup.

  • Watch your portion sizes.
  • Order half portions or take home leftovers.
  • Ask for salad or vegetables instead of fries.
  • Avoid deep-fried or breaded items.
  • Ask for dressings and sauces "on the side" and use them sparingly.
